THE SNOW IS GONE, AT LEAST FOR NOW

It's so nice to finally get some green moss beneath my boots again, have been missing this for a long while.
This view bring back all the memories I have from last year, all the wonderful walks amount these trees filled with colours, and warm light.
I know this might just be for a short while, but it a welcome break from the snowy ground and images I'm not yet got the hang of. Still struggling with winter and snow images, but hopefully I've been doing some progress.

I'm so grateful for all your support and comments even on my winter images, thanks🙏💖. It's been a huge inspiration for me to keep on looking for compositions in my winter woodland.
I do find it easier now to be out and about even with the snow all around me, so hopefully my hate for winter and snow may start turning towards some kind of acceptance.

Still, this is the kind of images I love hunting for when I'm out and about, using light as my main feature, and then let the darker shadows open up the depth.
At first I didn't quite understand why my eyes locked on this composition, but if you look closely you find a creature coming towards you in the back. It's just a faint glimmer, but I guess it's the woodland guardian just doing it's job.
I know it's just a fantasy, or at least I hope so, but I can't find it in the images I capture later. Just a coincidence I guess, but who will ever know?

The weather forecast talk about a storm soon arriving later today, a type of weather I love. Gale wind and ruff conditions, but going out and about into the woodland and forest among broken branches and falling trees may not be the safest thing to do. I’ll just have to see how bad the weather are going to be. So far it looks ok, but I have to get our dinner prepared and ready before I wander out into the woodland.
