FINDING INSPIRATION THROUGHOUT COVID
Yes, I've got Covid as Norway now have opened up and gone back to normal .
It s...., but still, I'm very happy I've got vaccinated. Between the cough, headache and fever attacks I’m trying to look through my old images to see if anything can cheer me up a bit, need something to compensate for the lack of energy, a head that doesn't work properly, the fever, and breathing problem.
So many have been through the same these last couple of years, so many people didn't make it for different reasons. I know I'm getting out on the other side thanks to the vaccine. Still, being caged and restricted to get out whenever I choose are frustrating.
Looking through all of my images sure are a wonderful way of letting my thoughts run freely, but deep inside me that hunger for fresh air, the smell of woodland, and lack of exploration rumble. That beast sooner or later will break free.
This seascape image goes back to May 2020, an amazing evening. I'd been visiting this place several times before, mainly to capture more intimate images, working on my composition skills and still getting to know my gear. So many images have ended up with lens flares, and been a nightmare that have haunted me ever since. I’ve tried several time to remove these flares, but never manage to get it right. Never delated any images that have been sharp, as I have had a small hope that I sometimes in the future would master Photoshop better, and become able to correct some of the beginner fault I’ve been making.
Just being out experience these conditions in many cases makes the journey, I don't need images to fulfill that. With that said, I'm still running around with my camera and have a bit of obligation to share images with You. This mean I do need to capture images, not necessarily mind-blowing ( don't think that will happend either,) but at least sharable images that I'm satisfied with. Between my coughing, headache and fever attacks I've tried to pick up a bit of knowledge on how to remove lens flares. So when my head and mind works a bit better I'll have another go on some of my older image.
I tried to occupies myself with a few old images , composition wise I think they looks ok, but the lens flares ruin the whole image. The headache, coughing and fever haven't been as hard early in the morning, so I have manage to work a bit with my newly acquired knowledge and the end result looks ok. At least I’m satisfied with how the images came out. I know it’s not any woodland images, but it’s nice to share images a bit different from my usual type of photography.
My love for photography goes to all kinds of photography, maybe not street and architectural photography. I don’t like crowds and people, so I understand my non-interest in street photography, but I’m not sure about architectural photography, haven’t thought about it very much. Maybe because the lack of interesting buildings in my area have to do with that.
